Well my last few days have had real weak updates and after the coma I was in all day yesterday I figured it would lead to today. Well I made an effort and got out and about. I headed out for food and ended up “stony driving” around Long Beach and went to the top of Signal hill to scope the view. After grabbing some pics and reading a bit of history on the areas Oil Industry I headed home.

Lots of snow sports were viewed and I eventually hit the sack again. Grey had hit me up about some shredding going on at his house so I got myself up again and headed over there. I did some coaching, talked about the Hobby, BMX collecting, and even threw a football around with Opie’s son Ben. Good name;)

Grey let me know Keith (RideBMX) was stopping through to shoot some portraits of them. I watched the guys mess around on the tables for a bit and when Keith was done he did a bit of interviewing with them for the mag. After that Keith and I both needed to head out to meet up with Jeff Z and a crew to celebrate Jeff’s birthday.

The spot was a dope Italian spot in Long Beach called La Parolaccia. I love Italian food and I was stoked cause I checked out the menu ahead of time and they didn’t just half Calamari, it also came with Shrimp, STOKED! I ordered a dish that Jeff recommended and it was really good. I can’t wait to eat the leftovers. After that we did the birthday song thing and devoured an amazing cake that Tamara, Jeff’s wife made, so sweet, so good. Dinner ended with an hour or so of figuring out the bill and after that everyone went out for more. I headed home to do this post and chill before the week ahead.
