Good day today. Real productive? Hmm, well depends on what I was trying to produce, haha. I knew the office was going to be pretty empty since Chris was at the Tour of California (I am so jealous), and Nuno was heading to Minnesota go go to Frost Bike at QBP. I knew JC would still be around for part of the day. When I rolled in to my surprise Ian was still around, so it was cool to see and hang a bit more with him.

Last night I built up some new wheels for my bike. The all Chromed out ones I have been running are pretty old now and I figured it was time to freshen up the kit. It is also a good idea to run production stuff since most of the old stuff wasn’t as well. The new wheels I did are all Gold. Reminiscent of Taj’s old wheels he used to spray paint back in the day. The reminder of inspiration came from a set of wheels Bauer just built for taj that were real similar only using Hazard Lite rims and Black GSport Nipples. I asked for some Hard Anno Gold Ribcage samples and flipped it with Gold Nipples.

I really like the way it turned out. Which says a lot since I have been obsessing about a new wheel set for a while and could never decide what to do besides all chrome again. I took most of the High Polished and Chrome parts off the bike too and swapped them out for Black. When the new bars show up, I may replace the chrome ones. Dunno, I’ll see.
