The long week caught up with me today. As much as I wanted to do I just didn’t have the drive. I went to lay down for a little and ended up sleeping all day. The rest felt great, but now I have one of those Sleep Migraines. I hope to get up early and head down to Etnies to get in some riding and brake in the tuned up ride.

The above photo is of stuff sitting next to my desk. I recently finally got my own truing stand for a pretty good deal, but it needed some work. I cleaned it up and dialed it in using the front wheel off my Elf. The easiest thing to center out your stand is to use a wheel you know is good. It’s better than spending $50+ dollars for the “tool” they have made to do this task.

Totally off the subject of BMX, I really like to buy old stuff and make them work for my needs rather then just picking up something brand new. Sure there are certain things that are better brand new, but I try and buy previously used when ever possible. Hell, my iPhone 3G was even a refurbished version and I saved a serous amount of money by buying it that way.
