The above photo is from the front seat of my car. About a minute before I shot this I was just minding my own and waiting for the light to turn green. I am not even sure, all I remember is hearing a super loud screech, then a fucking gnarly collision. I look up and both of these cars and seriously lying towards me. The whole scene tuns slow motion and I just throw my arm up in front of my face an try to lean into the other side of my car.

As I look up the black car hits that light pole a few feet up and then it bounces off and stops where you see it. The SUV was pretty much attached to the black car and added to the collision into the pole. That fucking pole saved my life. I was about to be seriously fucked up and both of those cars were stopped in their place by that light pole.

I was so shook up and I am looking around. The driver of the SUV jumps out and walks up to check on the kid in the black car. Luckily that kid had every airbag that is possible to have in his car. A few feet further forward and who knows what kind of shape he would be in. A woman and another man come up from behind my car and start checking on people and call the accident in. I ask if I should stick around and got no response.

I sat there through at least 3 lights and the cars were stacking up behind me. I made the turn I had planned on making before all of this went down and pulled over as soon as I could and got out. I remembered getting showered with glass and when I got out my car was covered in it. I looked back at the scene and the ambulance and police were arriving. I was so shook and didn’t know what to do. I ended up going on my way. It took me hours to come down from this.

I was tripping in my head and still to this minute I cannot find one thing to be stoked about. Even the fact I didn’t get harmed. I think it was seeing Mikey yesterday and then reading an interview with him in the new ride where he talks about how fast everything can be taken from you. I almost witnessed that first hand tonight and thank the lord I didn’t. I can’t get the whole thing out of my mind.
