Maybe the crazy busy week on top of the usual stuff is what made Friday something of a relief. Any who. Today was about QC tons of new goodies, receiving new sample goodies, and putting some of said new and sample goodies on my bike.

Greyboy and Opie stopped by the office during the day today to get some stuff and Opie dropped off a piece of Artwork for me. I was quite stoked! Thanks Opie. I left the office about 6 and headed over to Grey’s house to check out his new Quarter Pipe. The thing is mellow, but that makes it pretty fun for a driveway ramp. We rode the quarter off an on for a bit and I broke my chain and managed not to hurt myself.

I split for there and headed home. That brings us to now. The above picture is of the scene I arrived to when I got to Greyboy’s. This seems pretty normal to most riders, but the thing to know is his house is located on Naples Island. This is a pretty exclusive and upscale neighborhood that is I guess, part of Long Beach. Grey spent everything he had years ago to buy, restore and save this house. The 1957 Opdahl House by Architect Edward Killingsworth is great and has been featured with Grey in Dwell magazine. Do some Googling if your interested and learn a little something. After that, you will know why this scene is somewhat out of place.
