and D is for Distractions. Long time internet homie, Russ Bengtson came by the office today. Russ is the infamous writer of the SPRFLS blog, excessive tweeter during NBA Finals, and great writer of basketball and sneaker themed articles. I have known Russ via emails, internets and phone calls for several years and today was the first time any of us at the office got to meet him. I must say it was about fucking time man.

We hung out shot the shit and grabbed some lunch with the whole office crew. When we got back we gave him the nickle tour for a dime and then took the Model-C’s out for a spin. I think the received the SPRFLS seal of approval. We also worked on some ODSY X SPRFLS product ideas.

While Russ was in the office Gary Young and fellow Give-D members Alex and Ohio showed up. Those guys were all stoked to meet Russ and gave him props on his site. After a while Russ had to take off to head back into Hollywood to go check on the work he is out here for, which turned out to be a total ball up, no pun intended.

gary and crew hung for a bit and got the goodies they needed and headed out. As I thought I was going to be able to get back to work, I found out we had one more visitor that needed to get picked up from LAX.

Turned out Aaron Ross was flying if for the Espy’s and then he is heading out to the UK for the Ride to Glory. Wow, what a day. These are the days when I realize I have the best job on earth. Well for me at least.

The above picture is of Russ about 1 minute after he walked into the door. Sneak attack! Alright, now I need to get out of here to go check out the new Harry Potter flick with Rachael. Already miss you Ryan.
