Ten thousand seemed the be the theme of my day. The items on the to do list are getting checked off as fast I can can do them and at times it feels like I am in quicksand and there are still ten thousand things to do, at least. The closer I get the more excited and happy I am.

The photo above is of what 10,000 business cards, give or take a few hundred, looks like. When i started here, Bauer made my cards and ordered the standard 1,000 or so. This is what showed up. I guess the printers spaced or added a few zeros on the printer. Either way, they boxed them all up and sent them out to me. I have tried my hardest to put a dent into these things by giving them to friends, people in public, girls (yes, bad idea), drop your card and win something bowls, everywhere and they do not seem to go away just like the stuff on my to do list.

Funny thing is that they are most likely obsolete now with the new Austin venture. What will I do with them? Shit not sure. Maybe buy some property and build a modern design house out of them and make it into Dwell Magazine. The best part is when I meet with the magazine people and they ask my name, I am guaranteed to have a card to give them.
