So today is the official day one of the move to Austin for me. There were some delays at the office that lead us to leave about an hour late and then there was the parking lot called the 91 we sat on for another hour.

I was ahead of the guys in the truck and we could not find the paper work for the truck with the important info we need for it, so I called the office and it was sitting on a desk there. I had them fax it to me at a Kinko’s I found in Palm Desert. They guys waited off that exit for me and I brought them the paper work. I had a pit of a moment when my card would not work at 2 gas stations. I quick call to the bank and all was fine. I chalked it up to the crazy heat. While filling up with gas I stashed a hat near a wall ride with tire marks for the twitter giveaways we are doing. Not sure if anyone found the hat.

We split up again and I rallied over 100 miles really fast and never saw the guys. I took an exit to finally eat lunch and it turned out I must have missed them when they got of the road to fill up with gas.

I hopped off the highway outside of Phoenix to see what was wrong with the trucks. The guys had a dash light come on that turned out to be nothing. We managed by total chance to stop within 50 feet of a Uhaul service mechanic. After we got off the phone and were told all was fine, he reassured us. Stoked!

Quick rally to Tucson to watch some cool thunder storms and call it a night. Dinner at the Waffle House and lot’s of time to make up tomorrow.
