hahh….not that power pop is such an origianl genre of music….but THE NERVES definitely know what the fuck they were doing….it’s not a mystery that they originally wrote and performed “Hanging on the Telephone” which became a major hit for Blondie at that end of the 70s….i just find it extremely hard to believe that somebody would imagine that Debbie Harry could even think up those lyrics.
