Vans Surf Team rider Andrew Doheny, from Newport Beach, CA and notably one of the best 16 year-old surfers in North America, was chosen by Ian Carins and Surfing America to be one of 5 to represent the US in the under boys 18 division. From here, the chosen 5 will battle it out to see who will represent and surf for the U.S. in the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships to be held in late January 2010 in New Zealand.
