Last weekend saw the 2009 Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival go down at the Desert Breeze Skatepark in Las Vegas. A major attraction at the event was the Ricardo Laguna Pro BMX Dirt Challenge, and Levi’s® BMX Pro Anthony Napolitan was up in the mix. Anthony rode consistently, front-flipping his way to a third-place finish behind Ryan Nyquist and Rob Darden. Darden took the overall win and $5,000 prize, but according to eyewitness reports; the top-three finishers were all super close. Vital BMX is claiming they’ll have video of the contest up shortly, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that.
