The BMX Park was assembled and stored under the stands at Lamport Stadium in Toronto. This stadium is a football stadium used by several local youth teams including the Oxmen. This video was taken one week before these pieces were transported to the 2007 Toronto Bike Show at the Direct Energy Centre in the CNE Grounds in Toronto. BMX professionals from as far away as Texas and Mexico came to race on this track in March 2007 at the Bike Show. It is planned that local youth will professionally paint themes of peace and community building on the wood in the coming months in partnership with the Toronto Crime Stoppers School Officer Scott Mills, and the BMX park will find a home at the Wallace Emerson Community Centre at Dufferin and Dupont Sts in Toronto
