Here is a small taste of what the Chinese New Year’s Eve celebration is like. We live on the 21st floor of an apartment building in Shanghai. If you think that the 4th of July is spectacular, you are sorely missing out on the best firework displays I have ever seen or heard. We are literally at eye level as they pop, boom, and bang.
