There were some people launching commercial fireworks off a sandbar on the eastern coast of Australia during the record low tide at the coincision of moon and sun. being cheap shinese exported fireworks, naturally, half of them launched and failed to go off. the king ‘high’ tide 6 hours later at daybreak brought thousands of unexploded goodies to my feet. this is one of tens that i picked up, cored out and re-fused. gave me some valuable experience with commercial product, and i got to witness colours i’m too stingey to make myself. i refused each with a length of visco, and sat them in the bottom of large cone shaped holes i dug out of the sand. the beach was pitch black so i couldn’t afford the stars to go horizontally into whoever may be passing by. i hope you enjoy it.
