I’ve been slackin on an update but I just recently had an awesome 2 day vacation of sorts on Catalina Island. It had been years since my last visit to Catalina, so it was real good to get around the island both on bikes and under the water… Anyways, Gary, Kosman, some others and I have been workin on this project that incorporates BMX dudes with diving. It has a lot of potential to grow and become something awesome but we’re basically taking it one step at a time. Now that the 3 of us are all dive certified, we can really get to moving on this project…







So, on this trip it was just Gary, Kosman and I working with some film crew and dive instructors, this was definitely my first open water dive session too. It was 4 open water dives, 2 dives per day with shredding, eating and rot in between. These 4 open water dives finished up our certifications, soon my dive card will be in the mail and I can’t wait to get back out under the waves!



Prior to these open water dives, we had a grip of pool dive lessons and some online dive courses, this open water session in Catalina was a long time coming. We saw some awesome sights underwater there and rode some real kickass shit on the island too! Yes, Catalina has good spots and a pretty good skatepark and yes, everyone got clips… I don’t know where all the footage is going to at this time but perhaps I’ll see it soon and I can get up on here for people to check out.
