Don’t get me wrong, there are pools to ride here. But they are few and far between, and usually a bust.  For the most part the because of the winter, transitioned pools will crack, and it is way cheaper to get a sand fill pool. As far as I can manage I have found six good transitioned, 70’s the dogtown guys are, pools in Winnipeg.  3 are within 3 kilometers of my house, 2 are within 2 kilometers, 1 is within 100 feet.  All the owners have all threatened to kill me if I ever even look at them again. To me the hassle isn’t worth it.  So, when I’m looking to ride a pool, I’ll be pretty much content with a full pipe.  On the prairies they are way easier to ride.  There are at least a dozen in Winnipeg that are always available, and more that move around with construction companies.  Marc is a connoisseur of the full pipes.
