MAKING-OF THIS VIDEO
Machines used: an old upright piano; a condenser mic through a small mixer, and an old cam, both feeded in a usual dvd recorder for TV: no Vista A.I. to ruin my recording.
Software used for postprod: just Paint, Windows Movie Maker 6 (3 passages) (and the new YouTube annotations features).
SPECIAL THANKS

For info about fonts, and for having (partially) inspired this cover: frankibio.
For info about sheets (I knew IR by ear, but the sheet was useful for the choir part): miglopez01.
COPYRIGHT FAIR USE NOTICE, SOURCES
This video is meant as a non-profit respectful homage. This solo-piano adaption isn’t comparable to the original version which features complex instrumentation. I’m convinced that this video doesn’t damage The Alan Parsons Project nor the copyright owner, but oppositely helps to spread the culture about this high quality music. For this I quote the link to the official APP site. The original composition is © Woolfsongs Ltd (and I don’t claim it).
The following pictures appear in low resolution for pure reporting purpose:
- the Isaac Asimov painting, which is by Rowena, who distributed it through the GNU Free Documentation License;
- the 77 poster (from 5-25-77.com), the Star Wars images, and the Eric Woolfson picture (from APP official site);
- the transparent robot, the image with Alan Parsons and the “I Robot, the story of..” notes, from the original IR album;
- the cartoon robot and the blue background, from the Nucleus single;
- the black IR and Eve artworks are from the rare vinyl “The Audio Guide to the Alan Parsons Projects”;
- the “robot in playing card” artwork is from the rare “Turn of a Friendly Card box” (of vinyls).
The sound used in the beginning is from the APP album Pyramid.
