Jaumell was killing everything last summer before he wrecked his ankle. Since then he’s been killing cans and bottles. Anyway we sent him some questions to see what he’s been up to. Along with his answers he sent in some photos of himself wearing the new hats. Check it out after the jump. Crispy!

What’s up with your foot?

Its more my ankle than my foot. I broke it in August riding some jam/comp. I was being stupid. Already had a bad ankle and decided to jump over a guardrail out of a bank. Blew up first time pretty sure it was broken then. Decided to give it another shot. Rode away but wasn’t able to walk after.

Is it healed yet?

I’m sure it’s messed, still aches everyday, makes popping noises, still mushy too, ain’t sweating it though.

What’s up with the winter?

Its something I’m used to. Being cold for 6-8 months.

Has it been cold?

Too cold. Iced up. Man I’m living in the deep freeze right now. Its been colder than -20 for a while now. Damn prairies. This year is the first year I bought a coat since grade 11.

Do you have a good indoor to ride?

Not close. There are a couple parks in central Alberta. Sylvan lake has a park, same with Three hills. I’m gonna hit up a parkade and ride backwards tonight. Our semi-local park closed down after 7 years of being open without any reason. That absolutely sucks. Definitely my favorite winter spot. Lots of fun was had there. Few of my friends have called to try to get an explanation on why they closed. They didn’t get much out of them.

What do you do for fun in the winter?

I got a snowboard this year. So fun. Get stizzed and fly down a hill. Play some shinny at the local outdoor rinks. Hitting up the beer store is a mandatory move. Hang with the gf. Visit the Party Palace 3 streets down.

Are you going to kill it in 2009?

If I don’t get killed. Knee is gettin’ a bit loose.
