Many of you may have heard rumors of a backyard jam contest happening in Newcastle, maybe on the message boards or word of mouth. To clear this up, here is the real deal. JDM Allstars are a large drift racing event company, run by drift racing drivers, and the first race of their triple crown series is going to be in Newcastle, on Spillers Wharf on the 4/5th April. Buying a ticket gains you entry to the whole arena, which includes the racing, BMX comp, Moto X, and a trade area and bars. The details of how to obtain tickets, and how to register for the comp will be on here son.

JDM have bought the Backyard Jam ramps, and will in place for the comp. Most of the UK’s pro riders are going to be in attendance and it’s going to be a hell of a good day. We’re hoping to run a open jam in the mornings, with loads of prizes on offer, then hand it over to the Pro’s for the afternoon and have another Jam. I’ll post more details of the running order once they come apparent. Registration for the Pro and Am will be on here, and again, we’ll post when that’s sorted. There’s also going to be DJ’s and a Red Bull energy station, and other cool stuff to check out!
