whats your name and where are you right now ?
Joseph North Rich. I’m sitting at Caffe Medici ( a local coffee shop in Austin ) with an empty cup in front of me. Either I’ve been here too long or I need to go order another one !

do you like vegas ? why or why not ?
Vegas as a town, I don’t really like. Its the epitome of waste to me. That city preys on people. I don’t really like that. Too much money being spent for no good reason.

why did you go to vegas ?
I was there for the Interbike Trade Show. System Cycle, our US distributor, helps us out with having a booth there, so I go to do my part to show what we have been up to, what we have in the works, and just to have a good presention of what T1 might be at a quick glance. The booth was really fun to work on and was my favorite part of it all. We have a few new things coming out and I wanted the booth to be something special. Something that was a bit different and might spark someone’s interest to look a little closer.

what was your favourite thing that happened during the weekend ?
Seeing the city of Las Vegas in my rear view mirror ! ha ha. My favorite thing would be catching up with friends that I haven’t seen all year. That’s always a treat.

what was the worst thing that happened during the weekend ?
Talking for 9 hours a day for 3 days straight. That’s really taxing on me. believe it or not. Having the same start to a conversation hundreds of times. It really wears me down and I don’t feel like I end up giving 100% of my attention to the person that comes to the booth at 2 PM on day 3 of the trade show.

what are your plans for 2009 ?
To keep improving and progressing as a person

who will win the nora cup video award in 2009 ?
Dave Parrick for the new Empire video that is in the works. As long as it gets done in 2009, it has all the makings to sit atop the rest.
