Figured I’d post this. Its footage of me(Brad Gethard) breaking my lower leg, compound fracture style, at a contest in France over 4 years ago. An oldie but a goodie. haaa. Glad I can laugh at this now, but this injury took 9 grueling months to heal and stranded me in a French hospital for 11 days where only 2 people spoke english.?? Weird because France and England are only a long swim apart and only 1 inch away from each other on the map. I eventually received what appeared to be a hospital and ambulance bill for 12,000 euros I’m guessing a year later which I stored in a safe place at the bottom of my trash can….
