happy birthday to a good friend and one of the first people i met when i moved to az. this has made me go thru a lot of old photos; not to cry over, but to re-live some of the shit that happend. from wild pool parties to burning the shit outta d’s neck, helping me write my name in blood in the kitchen, to talking me into using a PBR bottle as a club. today is not a day to cry, but to smile. everyone knew Kotter was not a man who would want us mopping around, even though it can be hard not to. he was a r religious man (though some of his actions may not have shown it hahaha) and because of that he is in a better place now.
this is the first time ive really said anything about this, because ive just been in a state of shock, not really grasping what happend leaving me with a lack of words. this should show us all not to sweat the small stuff, forgive an forget. if you have someone close to you, hug em, tell your parents you love em. do all that sappy shit you sometimes forget to do. dont take any one friend, or family member for granted.
and i’ll wrap this all up with a simple saying from real philosopher:

“Life is short you only live once and aint no telling when your leaving. So I’m going to do it all have a ball while I’m still living and breathing.”
