Thanks for coming back to check up on our progress, things are rolling along here at the SBC manufacturing facility! I know that people keep saying we are dead, so if you would keep coming back and checking our pulse and dont let them throw dirt on us just yet. Thanks to all the die hard Standard Byke Co fans, customers, dealers and friends who have stayed true to our cause, we will just keep doing our thing like we have been doing since 1992. Now let me tell you why I get so stoked to come into the shop everyday…
My buddy from the old race days, Bob Nash, stopped by recently with this vintage CW cruiser. He wanted us to keep some of it’s feel in building him a 2009 SBC Bob Nash Custom! Look at the year on the plate, still on the bike. We have been doing a lot of custom restorations and repairs lately, plus people just bring their old bike through just to show them off now and then. I get psyched to see the parts on some of these bikes still in use for example the original 185mm Flight cranks with the allen pinch bolts and the still bad ass Shimano DX pedals. As in Woody Itson, if you know who he is you probably remember Hutch’s 1985 Futuristic Black finish on the Trickstars. We just did a custom black veined powder coat for a customer of ours. Just to remind everyone, we are a fully custom shop and will do our best to trick out your next bike!
