After a second place finish this past weekend at the Local Motion Guaruja Surf Pro, Vans Surf Team rider Pat Gudauskas gained valuable rating points moving him into the number 4 spot on the ASP WQS tour. He beat out some big names but is looking forward to a win, stating, “It was a great final for sure. I really want to win an event this year so that's my goal until the end of the season, so I'm not really thinking too much about my rating.” Next up for Pat is the Rio Surf International which runs from October 5 through 11, 2009.
