Pyrotechnician For a Day was done July 5, 2008. I wanted to show what it is like to display a professional fireworks display. If you ever watch a fireworks display and think you want to be the fireworks man, well this is what it is like. For me the love of fireworks goes back to my childhood. I tried not to make the series this long but needed to do so to capture the day’s events. If you have the time, watch it in order. Total time is around 50 min. If you are already are a pyrotechnician be gentle with criticism if I did something wrong.
I’ll dedicate this series to all the men and women, that are mostly part time pyrotechnicians that make the fourth of July possible in the United States against a never ending list of government regulations.
