The legendary bad as hell maniac known as The Deuce applied for an Orchid team manager position recently. We weren’t really looking for a team manager but that didn’t seem to matter very much to Deuce. He just got down to business and started working. Pretty soon I was getting e-mails like this:

“i’m watching the x-games on espn360.com and,so far,van is qualifying first.”

“van got last in park qualifying; maybe he’s saving himself for street?”

“b-hunt said he has shoes, but he hasn’t been home in a month. i asked him because i saw a picture of him riding in sandals”

“karl poynter is now on duffs. no more flow for him.”

“i called wiz and he said he’s fine with shoes and stuff”

It sounds like Deuce is on top of things. He’s even planning his Interbike debut this year. He already booked a flight and a room at the Venetian (baller!). If it all works out I have to make him a custom pair of white leather sneakers. We’ll see how it goes…haha.
