This weekend has been the flipping bomb! So much has been happening in the space of three days that I didn’t have enough time before I set off on the drive up North to be able to post about what I saw on the net on Friday.
Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice entry by Black Cube on Vimeo blew me away! Its been obviously well thought out, with the production in mind. Its not just a case of going out with your mates pointing the lens, using the latest pop tune in the charts and sticking it together on windows movie maker. This video looks like its been planned, angles were marked out on the ground, possibly even a story board was made of how it was going to be shot. The edit was tight with a equally tight choice of music and I have no idea what equipement they used to shoot all this but the level of detail in some shots was awsome. One other touch I liked was that maybes sound as well as vision was of equal importance, you’ll notice a couple of clips where the sound of whats happening around the rider has been focused on.
To be honest if this doesn’t get first place in the Nike comp then im sure we will be seeing more from this dude maybes on our TV screens in the future. Next music video director of the near future?
Ty Morrow Federal Video…
Has a couple of minute BMX video featuring only two riders had so many views before in just 3 days? Federal Bikes Ty Morrow edit has had over 38000 views in just 3 days being up on the net!! I know there is some heavy hitters (to quote Westwood) but them kind of videos have been up for months with under 100k and this has reached over a third of that in just 3 days. Enough talk its time to watch it if you haven’t already…
Wow its been a reet lad on tour, on tour weekend!!!
