Wild Thing by The Troggs. This was my era and this was my favourite record at the time.
I come from a seaside town and back in the 60’s in the summertime it was more like a fairground.
Our favourite posing place was the Waltzer rail. Dressed in a micro mini dress, 4 & 1/2 inch white stilletoes, hair piled up in curls on top (with lots of bellair hairspray, as you needed it to ride the waltzers) Pink lipstick, false eyelashes, false nails painted pink and looking very much the part as Wild Thing boomed out of the speakers. So there we all stood full of smiles, posing there waiting to be asked to ride the waltzer. (without the safety bar of course) The brilliant 60’s !!!
